Music, Dance, School!

Music, Dance & School!

This topic that im going to be talking about today is pretty boring... Maybe... Anyways, I am going to tell you a little summary of my Music Dance and School Journey!

MUSIC

Music has always been a thing in me since I was one years old. Although, I didn't realise it until I turned 9 and my school had offered music classes to kids who wanted to learn an instrument. I decided to take up Violin and I really liked it. Well, Ive always loved the violin since young but my Mum was scared to let me learn just incase I would quit. When she realised that I really enjoyed the school classes, she put me with a private teacher doing out of school lessons every Sunday. I still do it. I have been learning the violin for 2 years now but Im doing Grade 4 going to Grade 5 standard pieces, scales, studies and doublestops. Although violin can be boring since there are a ton of techniques, I still enjoy it.

If you have a passion for something, dont give up!

DANCE

Unlike music, I never knew I loved dance so much until I was 5 and asked my Mum to put me in Dance Classes. So she put me in Ballet and I enjoyed it! When I was in year 3, my mum decided that my current dance school was not very good so she moved me to another dance school where they are  really strict on techniques and everything. I managed to get through it though and I did very well in my exam! I quit dance for a year to do gymnastics but, i didn't enjoy gymnastics as much as I thought I would so I went back to dance but at a different dance school. Kinetic Dance Force. At my first year at KDF, I attended Ballet & Contemporary classes. I won a trophy for ballet at the End of Year Showcase and I also participated in the Own Choreography Awards. I love dance because it's a great way for me to express how I feel using movements. My idol, Briar Nolet is an amazing dancer!

SCHOOL

Im in my last year of Primary School this year (2017) and Im really sad that Im going to be leaving some of friends including my best friend but, it's ok. Hopefully I get to cross paths with some of my friends again! Im in Year 6 this year and next year, I will be in Year 7!
